I have 2 Airthings Wave plus and one Mini.I bought the hub to be able to see the sensor values on the internet.I can now see the valve without problems and the respinse of the application has also improved a a lot because the hub now comunicates with the sensors and I no longer have to turn on the Bluetooth, respectively the location to synchronize the sensor values in the application.

Best for the Radon monitoring.

Installation très simple comme tous les produits de la marque. C'est un peu compliqué pour "oublier" l'appareil un fois associé à un compte si on veut le transférer mais au final ça marche bien.

Purchased to support multiple AirThings Wave sensors. The setup is a transparent process that takes roughly 3 minutes of mostly automated steps carried out by the app, with minimal interaction.Keep in mind one important thing that I like very much but it may not be convenient in all homes: the hub must be connected to your router via Ethernet cable and there is no WiFi option so, a cable is needed at all times to have the hub connect to the AirThings server and update sensors data.Keep that in mind when thinking at potential spot to place the Hub.An 1.8m Ethernet cable is included in the box

Dont like how it's a separate system but itnfors work great once you have the missing link (hub)

Using WiFi is far more smoother to use as apposed to Bluetooth. All sensors upload far quicker also can access sensors through phones data plan. Would highly recommend.

There seems to be a lot of confusion as to why wifi isn't available on the airthings sensors. my options but having wifi although eaiser would cause battery drain or require more frequent charging /battery replacement as well as users complaining about connectivity loss (similar to web/security cams).the Hub has easy to view lights (although I wish there was an option to dim or turn off the led) . the hub's thickness is quite acceptable and the unit does not run hot.below is a similar review I posted for the wave plus sensorI was originally looking just for a smart radon tester before I installed a radon mitigation system and found the airthings wave system.at first I purchased the home kit which comes with a older wave 2nd gen, the hub and mini wave from Amazon warehouse (openbox). I had some issues with the hub as it was already registered and didn't want to mess with support who wasn't available 24/7 and ended up returning everything .during the initial setup I also (wrongly assumed) that the units would be WiFi/Ip based but the stand alone sensors only work via bluetooth or via radio with the hub. also without the hub the data isn't constantly recorded .I then ordered this new sensor wave plus, 2 mini waves and the hub (quite costly). setup was a breeze, unbox the sensors, download the app, register for an account, connect the sensor via bluetooth to your phone , update firmware and it's readym Then you plug in your hub add to the sensors to the hub via your phone. With the wave2 the radon level was high (as suspected as ally neighbors got their radon level tested professionally for 150 bucks . What I didn't expect was the co2 and VOC levels to be high in the house as well as high humidity levels in the basement.the co2 we were able to lower by opening windows and airing out the house, and humidity levels controlled with a dehumidifier in the basement. As far as the VOC i started looking into UV lights in the hvac and ultimately ended up with a Airscrubber by aerus installed from my hvac guy.after the airscrubber and hvac fans running the airthings wave sensor picked up the improvements.the web dashboard also is has a lot better data and is easier to see track historical data than the app as the app will show you real time stats we well as historical but can't zoom in on the data or set a custom time frame (zoom in).also the wave mini has mold detection but the wave plus does not and the wave plus (primarily for radon) has co2 detection but the mini does not so would like a unified sensor even if it cost more as well as the ability to have wifi (although this will prob drain the battery)I'd also like an option of hardwiring the sensor similar to a smoke detector and alert/push notifications for user or presets thresholds so I don't have to constantly monitor.overall great product but will make you think about how to improve the air quality after seeing the data :)

I have had difficulties to sync data between my Samsung Galaxy S7 and Airthings Wave plus devices. So i decided to buy this Hub. First i did not succeed to Link devices to this hub due to communication errors with devices. But with help of the Airthings customer care i was able to connect all the devices to Hub and so far everything seems to work and there is no more data sync issues or lost data. I don't know was the communication issue because of Samsung phone or Airthings devices. But this Hub solved it. I think Hub is communicating with the sensors by using smartlink protocol instead of bluetooth. The radio chip what they use is cc1310 and microcontroller msp430
