I bought a mountain bike roughly 2 years ago. I got two free tuneups and did not have to worry about such things as pumping air into the tires for 2 years. Now I do not have any more free tune ups and thought that buying a bike pump would be good for me. I live in a small bachelor apartment so I am very conscious about how much space a product takes up. I saw a lot of portable bike pumps on here but decided to go with this one as it had decent reviews.It arrived quickly and came in a small brown box. I opened it up and out came one of the most compact bike pumps I have ever seen. The construction of the pump looked solid including the hose and the base of the pump. The top of the pump turns sideways and acts as a handle that you press down on when you are filling your bike with air. I have attached a picture where the handle is turned sideways. There is a nice revolving metal foot stand as well that you can put your foot down on when you are using it. I was a bit annoyed with this product as I did not receive an instruction manual with this pump and that is why I have taken a star off. The instructions are so important especially if you have not done this in a while. Pumping air into tires may seem like a simple thing but apparently there is a new type of nozzle that I did not know about that is now very popular when it comes to bike tires. It is called a presta nozzle/valve. It is different in the sense there is almost a screw with a nut tightened around it. You unwind the nut as far as you can and if you press on the nut the valve releases air and I am guessing this is where it gets the name presta. The old type of nozzle used on bike tires is called schrader. I believe everyone has seen this. At first I was a bit perplexed and did not understand how to put air into the tires but I looked online and on the product page of this pump they do have instructions on how to use it. It turns out this pump can pump air into both schrader and presta nozzles. If you want to switch between the two you have to take off the valve cap of the pump and inside there are two other pieces (the valve insert and the rubber valve) that you need to switch around. This is where the instructions are super helpful.All in all I would say I am pretty pleased with this bike pump. It is quite compact and I do not see myself needing it to be attached to my bike but it is nice that that option is there. It gets the job done and it works for both presta and schrader nozzles.

Great bicycle tire pump. It is super compact and light weighted, so when you attach it to your bicycle, it won't add too much weight. The tire pump comes with the bike frame mount, the install is easy and quick. The mini tire pump works surprisingly efficient. it doesn't take much time to pumping the bike.
