"High sensitivity microphone" is misleading, the device lacks microphone amplification and filtering, therefore speech barely registers above the background noise (cannot trigger reliably). Should work perfectly well for projects when high level noise needs to be detected (e.g. claps).

The V(analogue) difference between sound and no sound is negligible. Furthermore for some curious reason analogue voltage changes dramatically when the Do pot is changed (which is not supposed to happen). Unless you want to detect a marching band at a range of 5cm don't bother. It will detect a loud handclap at a range of 1m on the digital channel but only if the potentiometer is set very near the flicker range - and this is of no practi8cal use as it drifts with time out of such a precise setting. Bottom line - may be a fun toy to demonstrate a principle - but it is hard to see how it would be of practical value in any actual project.

...nix ist dabei, lediglich ein Link zu einem Shop. Dort soll es ein E-Book für 0 Euro zu bestellen geben... gegen persönliche Datenpreisgabe. Dass Amazon sowas zulässt...?Update: Zwei von drei schalteten an DO gar nicht, eines gab unkontrolliert bzw. nicht verwertbare Impulse ab. Empfindlichkeit sehhhr gering. Nicht für Praktisches zu gebrauchen. Ging zurück, bin gespannt, ob sie die Teile auf Leiterplatte überhaupt entgegen nehmen. Das Ganze war einfach nur ärgerlich.

The digital output threshold is very difficult to set. It looks like the limited dynamic range of the microphone is causing this because of the lack of amplification of the microphone signal. This means that that if you want the digital output to trigger on medium sound levels the noise of the chip will mostly cause a trigger. The most sensitive I could set any of the 3 modules I received was a trigger on loud talking or mild shouts. But it will have to do as all the others I found after a long search have exactly the same issues. I will purchase some amplified microphone pcbs that replace the microphone of this module and see if that works.

Ich nutze das Mikrofonmodul um mit einem Arduino Morsezeichen zu dekodieren.Die Empfindlichkeit ist gut und auch regelbar.

Microphone works. As any other cheap one, it only picks up voice clearly if one speaks directly into it. There is a reason why cheap headphones are directly in front of the mouth. Clapping is picked up even far away.Through one has to rotate the poti quite a bit till the desired 590 output level is reached. Sampling with 5-16 khz is also desirable, otherwise one does indeed only pick up the Subwoofer output.
