Image correspondant au modèle ST G3 et la description est G4, il ont fini par me rembourser apres que je les ai menacer de porter plainte a Amazon. J'ai lu une critique semblable à la mienne et elle date de l'été 2022 nous sommes en juillet 2023. Personne n'allume chez eux.???

This post takes the J out of Jolt. Yes, there's still the 'olt', but that's a notable relief. I'm 275# requiring the firmest insert. Choose the right one and you'll do well. Don't, however, expect miracles, it just takes the Edge off those thumps.

Ich habe Elastomer für meine 12 Jahre alte Thudbuster gesucht und hier gefunden. Leider habe ich mich an dem Produktbild orientiert, dieses entsprach der verwendeten Federsattelstütze. Die Beschreibung beinhaltet aber noch G4, verweist also auf eine viel aktuellere und dafür passt der Elastomer dann nicht.Ich ging aber davon aus, dass das Produktbild stimmt, ansonsten müsste dort stehen - Abbildung ähnlich - oder so, stand dort aber nicht! Das ist ärgerlich, also habe ich den Artikel zurück geschickt. Da ja wenigstens die Beschreibung korrekt ist, hätte ich aber 3 Sterne gegeben. Aber die Rückzahlung erfolgte nur zur Hälfte !? Warum ? Für einen 10,99 € Artikel lass ich es jetzt mit dieser Bewertung auf sich beruhen und werde keine weitere Zeit mehr investieren.

I like that the post is well made AU alloy and durable for the intended job. I had to order the #5 elastomer for my 27.2 post and had a hell of a time inserting it but once i did it seems to manage the road chatter well coupled with a Serfas Brand "RX" seat.I will say that the angle the seat is positioned appears to really make a difference as well more than all the rest of this. I've been riding for nearly 25 years and have struggled to manage the angle and its because of the different "geometry" of my 3 bikes. Its basically needing 1 of everything to cover each bike and nothing is interchangeable for me.On one hand I have a 1996 Trek 930 Mtn Hardtail that is very aggressive mid nineties stuff CroAlloy so the seat tilts forward, a 2006 Specialized Tri Cross 2xcomp with a more upright flat bar profile which meant seat more level and now most recently a new 2021 Specialized Sirrus Hybrid 5.0 X that is a little of everything in it and i have been damned trying to get it right (currently level). Anyway the "Jewels" are hurting at one degree, sit bones getting crushed at another, numbing sensations after about 10 miles etc...its not so much the post, or the road or potholes its the damn angle and cushion of the seat. Almost every damn seat under $150 is made of hard plastic resin and foam even on $2300 bikes ie. Specialized Power Saddles and they suck!Anyway in closing big riders like me need help too and products made for our interests and Cane Creek is doing their best to help us for that thank you. Now if only the seat companies could collectively get their heads out of their butts and engineer a comfortable saddle for the "Most" of us in the USA who aren't 140-160 lbs Europeans wearing lycra and Spandex on Sat and Sunday each week. It's amazing how such a small thing can make a huge change in ride quality, but this Thudbuster ST suspension seatpost is definitely one of those... It takes the "pow" out of the ruts and bumps, making the ride far more comfortable. I like that they make five different weight "springs" (elastomers) so you can use the one most appropriate to your weight. It really works amazingly well.

I'm 300+lbs and struggled to find a suspension seatpost that would work for my weight. I finally found the Thudbuster ST (short-throw), which supports riders up to 350 lbs. The catch is they don't include the 'extra firm' elastomer in the box with the seatpost, and you have to buy the elastomer separately.I did that, and after installation my Thudbuster ST seatpost with this extra firm elastomer are the single best investments I've made in biding comfort. Highly recommended.
