Also das Glöckchen bimmelt nett, ob es einen Bären wirklich verscheucht lässt sich nicht nachweisen.Die Befestigung ist gut und wertig gemacht .Der Magnet ist zu schwach und verrutscht ständig, wodurch es auch bimmelt wenn ich es nicht will.

I'm very disappointed in these "bear bells". The sound is so quiet that you'd have to be on top of a bear before the bear heard it.

I walk every morning at the cabin. The bells jingle without being obnoxious. I’ve encountered bears this summer that scamper away.

These are cute, red and make a pretty good ring. I haven't encountered any bears in our yard or in the woods when I had it, so it may work. I really got them mostly for Husband who like those long walks in thw woods. So, bear bell & cell phone and hopefully he is all set out there...

This connects to a backpack, water carrier or to your clothing, and makes sound as you walk. I suggest a minimum of two. The silencer works pretty well when you are bird or wildlife watching.
