C'est un petit boitier avec une entrée spdif et coaxial vers 3 sorties spdif.Je l'utilise avec ma focusrite 18i20 afin de démultiplier sa sortie en spdif, une vers mon ampli casque et l'autre vers l'ampli de mes enceintes m'évitant ainsi de switcher les câbles !Après, il y a plein d'autres utilisations comme convertir un câble coaxial en spdif ! C'est un boitier simple qui fait le job. Cependant, attention, vous ne pourrez pas utiliser deux entrées en même temps, car c'est soit spdif ou coaxial !

AGGIORNAMENTO: Ho aggiunto una stella perché a prescindere dal fatto che la gestione cavi non è favorita dalla disposizione dei connettori, mi sto trovando bene, funzionano bene e mi hanno risolto parecchi problemi. Mi scuso anche per non essermi accorto che il Led che indica lo stato degli ingressi del modello SH-AC01B c'è e si trova di fianco all'alimentazione. Quel led cambia colore a seconda dell'ingresso attivo.Ho avuto la possibilità di provare entrambe questi dispositivi, l’SH-AC01B ed anche il modello SH-AC01A che ha la funzione opposta, nello specifico:SH-AC01A: 1 In. TOSLINK + 1 In. SPDIF e 3 out TOSLINK (Ingresso TOSLINK ed SPDIF non contemporanei)SH-AC01B: 3 In e 1 out TOSLINK (commutazione ingressi mediante tastino)SH-AC01BEntrambe sono utili, dipende dagli scenari di collegamento che vi si presentano. Nel mio caso ho trovato particolarmente utile la versione “B” ovvero, 3 ingressi ed una uscita, il motivo è il seguente: Ho 2 schede audio ed un ricetrasmettitore Bluetooth, quindi 3 sorgenti sonore ed una sola coppia di Altoparlanti dotati di ingresso ottico. Con questo dispositivo posso commutare l’ingresso che mi serve con un semplice tastino, mentre prima dovevo continuamente usare i pannelli di controllo delle schede audio per gestire il routing, poiché l’uscita ottica di una delle schede audio era collegata all’ingresso dell’altra. Alla fine il risultato è lo stesso, ma questo sistema è molto più pratico e veloce, in più posso usare il terzo ingresso per inviare l’audio che mi arriva da un dispositivo Bluetooth, ad esempio il telefono, e inviare l’audio alle casse. Non che abbia rilevanza, ma ho due schede audio perché una delle due è dotata di DSP e ASIO per il controllo dei plug-in VSTI.SH-AC01AQuest’altro modulo invece, funziona nella maniera opposta, avete un ingresso ottico e 3 uscite. Può essere utile, ad esempio, se volete inviare l’audio a 3 dispositivi, come Altoparlanti, Ricevitori Bluetooth da usare in abbinamento con le cuffie, Sound bar, una scheda audio che potete usare per registrare o qualsiasi altra cosa vi venga in mente. In entrambe i casi, rimanete nel dominio digitale, quindi senza perdite di qualità.CONSIDERAZIONI: SH-AC01B-Gli alloggiamenti sono in metallo e sono alimentati via USBC, non vengono forniti né cavi audio/ottici, né alimentatore, sono da prendere a parte, troverete invece il cavo di alimentazione USBC.-A seconda di ciò che vi serve potete acquistare o l’uno, o l’altro, separatamente. Io li ho provati entrambe e funzionano bene.-Per quanto riguarda il modello SH-AC01B, quello con 3 ingressi ed una uscita, uno dei problemi che potreste avere è relativo al “cable management” nel senso che la gestione dei cavi non è certo favorita dalla forma del dispositivo e dalla disposizione di ingressi e uscite, vi ritroverete quindi con questo modulo pieno di cavetti e dovrete posizionarlo da qualche parte e fare in modo di avere il tastino sotto mano per il controllo degli ingressi. La soluzione poteva e doveva essere il posizionamento di tutti i connettori sul retro, fornendo pulsanti e led di stato nella parte frontale. Non dimenticate che i cavi ottici, per quanto robusti possano essere, non vanno piegati troppo. Se questo è un problema per voi, dovreste cercare qualcosa di più comodo da gestire. L’alternativa sarebbe quella di fare leva sulle vostre doti “fai da te” e quindi fare un parallelo sul pulsante di commutazione e posizionare il nuovo pulsantino esternamente, in una posizione comoda, cosa che inevitabilmente invaliderebbe la garanzia e che richiede comunque un po’ di lavoro “tecnico”, ma a questo punto, converrebbe cercare direttamente un prodotto alternativo con le caratteristiche sopra descritte…e si, la risposta è affermativa, esistono, alcuni dotati anche di telecomando, proprio per risolvere i problemi di cui vi parlavo sopra. Per finire, nonostante si tratti di un dispositivo alimentato, non sono disponibili Led di stato che vi faranno capire quale ingresso è attivo, questo significa che se dovete diagnosticare un problema, ad esempio, mancanza di audio, novete tenere conto di questo fatto.CONSIDERAZIONI: SH-AC01AValgono le stesse considerazioni dell’altro modulo circa la gestione dei cavi. Per il resto nessun problema visto che non ci sono pulsanti su cui agire. Funziona correttamente.

I have a bluray player with optical output which I want to send to both my TV sound system and my hifi.This compact optical splitter allows me to split one optical input into two identical optical outputs. It can actually split it into three outputs and it can convert a coaxial signal into three optical outputs but I don’t have suitable equipment to test this.It seems well made with a solid metal case and is supplied with a 120cm USB A to USB C power cable. It works well.

this is just what i needed for our home theatre and karaoke set-up at home. i hated that i needed to unplug and switch the optical cable to a different source when we want to watch a movie and again if we'll do karaoke. it is such a bother to be bending down low and reaching behind the stand and all the criss-crossing cables to do that. i didn't know this kind of product existed but when i saw it, i knew it was the answer to my problem so i ordered for it right away. i installed it pronto when it arrived, and i could never be happier with our setup now. without reading the instructions you can have everything connected properly. came with a power supply cable but like most electrical gadgets and phones, the actual charging or power cube/block is not included. i am not sure why it needs to be powered, unlike the HDMI splitters which do not need a power supply, but i am not complaining as it works great so far. i have not encountered any issues yet so i am giving it full marks. we'll see how it does over time and i would review it again no problem.

First, what works just fine is the optical input that splits into three where 2 go to two Wiim Pro's serving as optical left and right feed to my digital loudspeakers and the third feeds my headphone.Perfect..What does not work is using the coaxial input for my players.I tested a Marantz UD7007, a Sony BDP-S790 and a Philips CD 753 player.Dead silence for each one of them (optical not connected while testing).I noticed that there was a review with the same experience (Coax Input funktioniert nicht).I was about to send it back for the same reason..Then, from an earlier setup I had a "Tendak Optische SPDIF Toslink zu Koaxial or Koaxial zu Optische SPDIF Toslink Digital Audio Converter" .Fortunately the Tendak also does Coax in>Coax out.And inserted that between a player and this SH-AC01A..A bit weird, having a setup of (Player-coax out)-->(coax in-Converter-coax out)-->(coax in-SH-AC01A-3xoptical out).But that works!For all three players..I connected the power for the Tendak to the USB port of my SACD player, so it does not use power when the player is not turned on..Furthermore it seems that switching between the inputs works good where the priority is given to the optical input, which is connected to the tv.Powering off the SH-AC01A itself (using Tapo P300 and S200B) frees up both Wiim Pros, allowing them to run audio streaming stuff.

The audio splitter came in a compact blue box. Inside the box there was a USB-A to USB-C cable and a paper manual booklet. The box that it came in was enough to keep it safe during shipping and it arrived to me in perfect condition.I added a few pictures to my review where you can see how it looked in real life.The setup process was super easy. I just had to connected my optical SPDI Toslink cables (input and output), connect the USB-C cable for power and it was ready to be used.I have a couple of audio systems that have an optical input (Toslink) and this adapter is great if I want to play music at the same time on both audio systems. I have Logitech Z906 and Logitech Z5500.The splitter did its job perfectly and I had no issues with it.I’m very happy with it. It has an aluminum body and looks durable.I have nothing to complain about and I think it deserves 5 stars.

Der DSD TECH Optical Audio Splitter ist ein klasse Gerät, das ich für meinen Fernseher verwende. Es unterstützt SPDIF- und Koaxialeingänge und ermöglicht mir die gleichzeitige Verteilung meines Audiosignals an mehrere Geräte.Eine tolle Funktion dieses Splitters ist die Möglichkeit, ihn über den USB-Anschluss meines Fernsehers mit Strom zu versorgen. Das bedeutet, dass es sich automatisch einschaltet, sobald der Fernseher eingeschaltet wird. Das spart mir Zeit und Energie, da ich den Splitter nicht jedes Mal manuell einschalten muss.Die Qualität des Audiosignals ist ausgezeichnet. Ich verwende den Splitter, um meine Soundbar und mein 9.1-Musiksystem zu verbinden, und beide liefern einen klaren, kraftvollen Klang. Es gibt aber eine kleine Verzögerung aber keinerlei Störungen im Signal und sorgt so für ein fast reibungsloses Hörerlebnis.Die Installation des Splitters ist sehr einfach. Der Splitter selbst ist kompakt und unauffällig, was ihn zu einer guten Wahl für mein Heimkino-System macht.Insgesamt bin ich äußerst zufrieden mit dem optischen Audio-Splitter SH-AC01A mit 2 Eingängen und 3 Ausgängen von DSD TECH. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der sein Audiosignal auf mehrere Geräte verteilen möchte.

Dieser aktive Adapter-Splitter ist schon eine ziemlich spezielle Lösung, wenn man ein optisches ODER koaxiales digitales Audiosignal an mehrere Empfangsgeräte verteilen will, ohne jedes Mal umzustecken. Bis zu drei Empfänger lassen sich anschließen, die simultan mit dem selben Eingangssignal des Splitters versorgt werden. Getestet habe ich das mit einem älteren AV-Receiver und einem Bluetooth Sender, als Zuspieler dient ein DVD-Player. Ein drittes Gerät könnte vielleicht ein MiniDisc oder DAT-Gerät oder ein anderer BT-Sender, der beispielsweise einen anderen BT-Lautsprecher versorgt. Dabei sollte man jedoch bedenken, dass die Signal-Laufzeiten sehr unterschiedlich sein können (delay) und es daher zu Halleffekten kommt. Das ist aber nicht die Schuld des Splitters.Der Eingang des Splitters priorisiert den optischen Eingang zu100%, wenn man beide Eingänge gleichzeitig belegt und ein optisches Signal anliegt. Das kann, je nach individuellem Setup, vorteilhaft sein. Ein Beispiel mit dem ich getestet habe: ein USB->Optowandler sendet Audio von einem PC und gleichzeitig ist ein CD-Player per Koax digital angeschlossen. Ziehe ich das optische Kabel vom USB->Optowandler, kann ich den CD-Player nutzen. Das erspart zumindest ein mal Umstecken an den Eingängen.Super wären natürlich mehrere optische Eingänge -> auf mehrere Ausgänge, aber das bietet der ca. 5,5cm lange, in einem solide wirkenden Alugehäuse befindliche Adapter leider nicht.Das mitgelieferte USB-A auf USB-C Kabel ist ca. 122cm lang, ein Netzteil wird nicht mitgeliefert, hier tut es aber ein einfachstes USB-Netzteil auch älterer Bauart.Etwas schade ist der völlig lieblos gedruckte Beipackzettel, der den Gesamteindruck etwas trübt.
