Very low quality. The product arrived damaged (one tea cup and the filter), and it was very poorly made. Returned.

The first set that I ordered arrived without any particular protective packaging (outside of the cardboard inserts). In consequence, the strain holder arrived broken in three pieces. I quickly requested a replacement, and I eventually got it after some time. The second set arrived with foam wrap around the more delicate items, like the former mentioned strain holder, as well as the gaiwan lid and pitcher. I would like to imagine that this is how they're supposed to be shipped, and my first set was a dud. However, I don't think this might be the case.As for the actual tea set, it's pretty nice. Very personal sized gaiwan, but you can get over that by brewing multiple steeps. The ceramic does feel a little thin, but I don't really see it as a huge issue. I think it's good enough to get started in the gongfu tea tradition, so it has my recommendation.

Malgré un paquet bien protégé, une tasse était ébréché a l intérieur. Un problème de qualité a l expédition, c'est bien dommage. Pour le reste c'est OK, mais j aurais aimé que les parois soient plus épaisses.

I needed a daily set for my tea (I chipped my very nice set). This is perfect for a personal tea set or a beginner set. Add some tea towels, and a set of the six gentleman tea tools and your on your way. Impressed with the gaiwan, the water flow is easily controlled with the well fitting lid. Be careful not to pour too much at a time into the tea filter, it might overflow.If your new to Chinese style brewing, want to learn, or just want a simple personal tea set this one is perfect for those uses. Grab it! :)
