We have trees over our front driveway with branches twenty feet up growing horizontally. Really hard to access with a ladder or climbing. When I saw this long reach branch pruner nad saw, I thought is might just be the item to solve the reaching problem.The pole saw comes in a heavy duty canvas bag. A really nice touch, as it looks the part even before opening the bag. Inside is a collection of poles that screw together, two attachment curved saws and a pruner attachment.Assembling the saw, or pruner is very straight forward and hardly need reference to the instructions. The saws are very sharp however, so using gloves and caution is advised when assembling the saws, or changing them over.I found that the poles are not as heavy as they looked, and I was able to hold three extensions and the saw handle without too much effort when positioning it across the tree bough. Getting the right place to cut is essential. Anny odd angles can be a problem as I have to maintain the saw position all the way through the cut.The saw is extremely sharp and the bough was easily and quickly cut. IT look longer to extricate the bough from the other branches beneath than to make the cut, but again the saw pole came in handy for this part, as it enabled me to hook the branch into position to remove from the tree.All in all an excellent saw pole. Absolutely essential for tree surgeons or home DIYers who have to avoid climbing trees or just cant reach those hard to reach places. The kit is well made, ven comes with a pair of gloves for safety use and a really nice carry bag
