I wanted this to fit onto my mini-sledge hammer handle and the handle was too small to fit the hole of this block. I liked how it was made and I felt like it would work well on an axe handle or sledge hammer handle

This appears to be a clone of the Handle Saver in HS2 or Large size, which I have on a sledgehammer. The material appears to be identical, and this is not a complicated item so I'm reasonably confident it will hold up. I love these, especially for sledgehammers/mauls that are going to be used with metal splitting wedges. Install is easier if you put it in boiling water for a minute to soften it. If your handle is oiled rather than poly/paint, a coating of linseed oil will also help it slide on and then dry it in place. Price is reasonable for what you get.
