Entsprechend der Angaben, kann die Optik für LW verwendet werden und auch bis 100m.Eine Kaliberangabe kann natürlich nicht gemacht werden, aber selbst auf einer .308 wird diese Optik passen.Die Gläser haben dem Preis entsprechend einen geringen Durchmesser und sind somit für das Hobby ausreichend, für schlechte Lichverhältnisse ist jedoch wie meistens im Leben, größer eben auch besser.

Macht einen hochwertigen eindruck, lässt sich sehr gut einstellen, der variable zoom ist etwas schwergängig aber fühlt sich dadurch auch sehr solide an, bisher kann ich nichts negatives berichten, vorallem bei dem preis.

bin echt zufrieden mit dem Teil. ist schön schlicht, gutes Absehen, es verstellt sich nix bei .357Mag auf 50-100m.was will man mehr.Update 17.08.22:ich muss mir leider selbst widersprechen. Das Glas ist nicht sehr langlebig. der Tubus hinter dem Einstellring, war irgendwann lose und hat sich mit gedreht, sodass sich das Fadenkreuz optisch mit bewegte, so war keine konstante Treffgenauigkeit mehr gegeben. Bei der Fehlersuche ist mir beim Aufschrauben von dem Tubus dann das Fadenkreuz (Draht) gebrochen und somit unbrauchbar und für die Tonne. Es ist halt doch nur Spielzeug was sich im Preis widerspiegelt. Schade.

Here is a target I fired with an RWS Model 34 Diana air rifle mounted with this scope at 30 yards. Target fired using magnification setting 5. Scope is a 2x7x32. Projectiles were RWS Meisterkugeln 8.5 grain pellets. This was a 5 shot group with the rifle fired from a sitting position from a bench with sandbags in the front and back of the rifle. A very nice scope for the price. Comes with scope lens covers too. I fired 8 different brands/weights/types of pellets. None were as tight as the group in the photo, but all were well within the 10 ring of an an H-8 Bullseye target (within the size of a dime) at 30 yards.

This is NOT an AO model! Very disappointed as in the description it kinda leads you to believe it is one. Had already mounted it up so I wouldn't feel right sending it back so I guess I'll keep it.

I am what some people call an optics fanatic so I make it a point to keep up with all the new scopes and binos on the market. I read a lot of reviews from a particular group that uses one tool in their trade/ hobby and that's birdwatchers. Binoculars are the most important item they carry. I say all of this just to note that the last review given to Hawke optics was top grade the writer who reviewed them said in his opinion Hawke Optics are the best optics he has ever reviewed bar none. He even put them in a class which included Zeiss, Swarovski and Leica. On a personal note I own Zeiss Swarovski and Leica binos but now that I have retired my mad money budget isn't what it used to be. Though the vantage line of scopes isn't Hawkes top of the line I don't believe you can find better glass for the money. I also own a Hawke XB30 crossbow scope and it is amazing. I promise you can compare Hawke Saphire Binos and the higher end scopes and you will have the same quality as the top three European brands. One last thing.... Hawke comes with the best warranty available and are a pleasure to deal with. Give Hawke a try. They are top optics in my book.
