This ladle works exactly as you would expect and is the high-quality that you would expect from KitchenAid.It has a nice, comfortable handle with a rubberised grip and it is long enough to be able to comfortably ladle hot liquids without getting your hand too close.The ladle is made from a very high-quality plastic that feels like it should last a long time and the ladle part is a good size to be able to hold a lot of liquid making it great for pouring gravies etc.Overall, if you are looking for a high-quality ladle, this is a great option.

I finally decided that it is time to replace the ladle I bought 9 years ago as it's gotten pretty gross with time and I just hated the design of it (the weight distribution was poor).This KitchenAid Ladle showed up so I thought I'd give it a try.I have to say, sadly, it didn't really impress me.Don't get me wrong, it is a ladle and it will function as one fine, however I see multiple problems with the design.Firstly, it has THE SAME DESIGN FLAW that my old one had and I just struggle to understand how multiple companies can make the same mistake. This ladle has all of its weight in the handle, so if you placed it in certain pots (particularly smaller ones), it could fall out due to the weight distribution. Thankfully, due to this ladle being shorter than my old one, this effect isn't as prominent, however it's still a poor design decision and I absolutely have to dock a point for that.Secondly, it is missing a hook point on the handle. I hang most of my kitchen utensils onto a rack in the kitchen and every single one of my utensils has a hanging point. This ladle sadly does not.Lastly, I have to mention the fact that the item already arrived stretched in a few places. This may just be down to shipping and not a production error, but I felt like this needs to be mentioned.Overall, this is definitely a ladle you can work with - it is heat resistant, its not metal so wont burn your hand, the end is rather deep so its good for soups and similar foods, it's dishwasher safe... It's definitely functional, however I'd be dishonest if I recommended it without bringing any of the problems up.Whether or not these are dealbreakers for you though it will depend on your unique circumstances.

This is a decent ladle made from decent materials.I have only hand washed it so far, but time will tell if it survives repeated washes in the dishwasher — I'll come back and amend this review if any problems arise.I don't usually like non-metal utensils, but I've invested in some ceramic-coated pots and need some non-metal utensils to avoid scratches on said pots.Despite the decent materials, I think £10 is much too high a price for a plastic ladle — £5.99 would be more realistic.

Cleaning this ladle is very easy, and it scoops up a nice portion every time I use it. I'm really pleased with my purchase.

We were very pleased to receive this ladle by KitchenAid. The ladle is ideal for soups and more runnier foods. The ladle is high quality, Stylish and practical. It is easy cleaned by hand washing or dishwasher. Works well and looks good. Happy and recommended to others.
