Quite early days but first impressions are very good. Decent quality plastic body and the battery fits nice and snug. Good even light distribution and will be great for short fishing trips

Very good light coverage for my needs for investigating under cupboards either plumbing or electrics and good too in emergency power cuts. Well priced for what it does.

Excellent light, but very bright. Use mainly on the lower setting. Takes about 1A an hour from the batteries. Makita batteries fit perfectly. Folds flat and fits nicely in a Makpak. Very pleased.

If you already have Makita kit, and hence the batteries, this is a useful addition to the tool bag. It gives a very decent light and does not get too hot. The 5V USB socket might get you out of a fix as well (note it is for charging other devices and not a means of powering the light.Good pointsA good amount of lightLight weight (the batteries weigh far more than the light)Decently robust - will it survive being thrown around a building site? Probably not. Will it take the occasionaly knock in a work environment? YesBattery clips in in a very solid manner and will not come loose accidentlyStable - with the battery fitted you can rest the light on something and it will not rock aboutBad pointsThe beam of light is narrower than I was expecting. It will illuminate the area you are working on fine, it will not light a wholse room as well.
