These are pricy for a reason, they simply are the best shades I’ve ever owned. I work around water and I can see the bottom of the lagoon without any glare. They are heavier than any other glasses I’ve ever worn and that is because of the high quality materials used to make these shades. I’m happy to own these high quality sunglasses. The style is cool and they fit like a glove. Great purchase!

This is my third or forth pair of Maui Jims and I LOVE THESE. I wanted something a bit more fun and fashionable and these fit the bill. They look gorgeous in the sun and are nice on my smaller face. Maui Jim has the best quality and I love the polarized lenses. I ordered the pinkish ones and they are more of a light golden brown as shown in the picture. I will have these for years.

This a very well made, nicely designed pair of sunglasses. I have never had a pair of sunglasses from this brand so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm definitely more than satisfied with the quality. The frame has a very substantial feel and seems strong and durable without being too heavy. I chose the Shiny Dark Havana with Trans Yellow frames + HCL bronze lenses. I chose this lens because in addition to the benefits of Maui Jim's PolarizedPlus2 technology, I read that the HCL (high contrast lenses) combined with the bronze tint offer excellent contrast with brighter, warmer colors and subtle gold tones and are not as darkening as the brand's grey lenses. I'm happy with my choice and the quality of the light is just lovely, especially during late afternoon and early evening. I think the grey sunglasses which I was also considering might have ended up too dark for me.I was a bit concerned that these sunglasses might be a little too large for me. I usually purchase sunglasses with a lens width no greater than 50 mm, and these are 53 mm. These are described as medium-sized frames. But I'm happy with how they look on me -- bolder than usual but the slightly upturned shape of the lenses keep them from looking too harsh and boxy. The bottom of each lens extends to just past my cheek bone and the top of each lens is about even with the edges of my face, while the robust frame extends farther out but really doesn't seem overwhelming. The frame is thick and built up at the corners and the temple bars are wide. There are protective caps at the end of the bars and a metal inlay along the inside. The hinges operate smoothly and feel strong. The brand's logo is highlighted in the top right hand corner of the right lens and on each temple bar where it joins the frame. The sunglasses came with a simple fold-up case and a polishing cloth and were nicely packaged in a cute box. These sunglasses look and feel great and I I'm glad I found a new brand. I think they are well worth the price.
