This is just what I needed. Adjustable, light and made of sturdy steel construction. The only negative is the plastic piece to hold the book which I think could have been designed better and deeper. Otherwise, great product for the intended purpose.

Wuoooo! Excelente producto, calidad, diseño, color, funcionalidad, materiales y durabilidad. Estoy sumamente satisfecho por el producto que recibi, además debidamente empacado, en caja y con plástico. Las articulaciones estan adecuadamente apretadas/duras lo que dará una larga duración. Mis libros son generalmente de 1,000 páginas (pesados). Estoy muy contento por este producto. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Muchas gracias!!!!

I use it for both book support for lap reading and as a computer stand for lap use with the base between my legs, very nice. I only have one concern, over time will the hinges loosen up and not stay in position. there is no way to retighten the hinges. However, it might be that there are springs within the hinges that prevent them from loosening up.

I use it mostly for writing at an elevated angle, so it holds a notebook while I write without moving or wobbling. I put pressure on it as I write and it maintains the position.I've used it occasionally for reading heavier books without any issues.I really like that it lays flat for storage/transport.
