Obviously there’s hundreds of these phone-filmmaking-rig sets. I’ve had a few in the past that were pretty decent but this one is actually the best I’ve come across. The rectangle rig is common but this one in particular is very durable and reliable. Along the inside, where your phone goes, it’s lined with thick, cushiony rubber so it’s nice on your phone. I was surprised by the heftiness of the light with diffusers because usually they come cheaply made in these kinds of sets… this light though is pretty hardcore if you ask me. You can power it with either 4 AA batteries, or you can power it with a type c usb power cable (which is also included with the set). Which brings me to the microphone… they include 2 audio cables, one for pc recording in mono I believe, and the other for mobile phone recording. But as you may already know, if you have an up to date iPhone then you’re gonna have to provide your own aux to lighting adapter… understandable since they’re so expensive smh. But the microphone itself is alright I guess… it’s decent… literally the same as every other tiny little mic that comes in these sets… audio quality was good… not amazing.For the most part, the manufacturer really showed out with this product. I’m thoroughly impressed.
