Ein super"immer drauf" Objektiv und mit der Xt 50 eine schöne leichte Kombination. Bin sehr zufrieden.

This lens will ruin the best of your camera. Has lots of chromatic abberation making all images except b&w useless. Regretting buying this as I cannot return it.

An Fuji 40 mp, OK, leicht!!!!! Klein !!! Offenblending mit 40mp Auflösung schlecht .Wollte es zuerst zurückgeben, aber aufgrund der Kompaktheit und der guten Qualität wenn man abblendet, habe ich es doch behalten.

Scharf, leicht, klein.Der Autofokus ist leise und präzise. Das Teil ist das beste "Always on" für Fuji Kameras, in meinem Fall der X-S20. Passt perfekt und diese Kombi ist extrem leicht und leistungsfähig. Auch der Preis ist mehr als Fair. Klar, wären 16-55 noch besser gewesen, aber das Fuji mit diesen Daten ist viel schwerer und viel teurer, nicht schärfer und hat einen lauteren AF.Top Linse, kann ich nur 5 Sterne geben.Wenn ich etwas verbessern würde: Die Gegenlichtblende ist, wenn man sie zum Transport verkehrt herum drauf hat, dem Zoom-Ring im Weg. Hätte man besser lösen können... Aber dafür gibt es keinen Abzug. Ganz weglassen oder einfach richtig rum drauflassen.

Verwende es an der XT-5. Der Autofokus ist schnell, nicht ganz so schnell wie bei den XF Objektiven. Die Schärfe schon bei Offenblende ist im Zentrum sehr gut und auch an den Rändern schon recht gut über den gesamten Zoombereich. Wenn man dann auf f/4.0 abblendet, ist die Schärfe am Rand ausgezeichnet. Auch für Videos ist das Objektiv sehr gut geeignet. Der Stabilisator der XT-5 arbeitet gut mit diesem Objektiv ohne OIS. Verglichen mit meinen zwei 18-55 (eines Made in Japan, eines in Phillipines) von Fuji, sind die Bilder an der XT-5 mit dem Sigma schärfer und nicht matschig. Das Bokeh ist durchaus in Ordnung. Als Reisezoom ist es sehr leicht und absolut zu empfehlen. Ich würde es wieder kaufen. Ist mittlerweile mein immer drauf.

I bought this Lens along with my new Fuji X-H2. It is... perfect? Well when I say perfect I should qualify the statement. It combines excellent optical quality with a good f2.8 max aperture and decent macro capability in a small, light, well built package. All of this for a very decent asking price. In terms of price/ quality ratio, there's nothing better on the market as I type this "review".An equivalent Fuji lens would add a little more range at both ends (more useful at the wide end if I'm honest), all metal construction and better weather sealing. From the tests posted on the internets however, I would argue the Fuji's optical characteristics are more or less the same as Sigma's. The Fuji is unquestionably a great lens, but it is significantly bulkier, heavier, not to mention more than double the price of the Sigma. As an small added bonus, the Sigma has some (rather decent) macro capability.Many would argue against Sigma's plastic construction and rather basic weather sealing, pretty far from me in disputing that. I would add like to add however that the engineering plastic used here feels quite good and solid, plus the overall assembly is beyond any reproach and the action of both rings is smooth and without any wobbles whatsoever. Consequently the lens is a pleasure to operate.All in all, together with the X-H2, this little Sigma it is the perfect everyday "standard" use combo, one that served me well whether indoors or outdoors, including environments such as caves, dark churches or bright days in my backyard. I haven't used this for event shooting yet but I see absolute no reason why It would not perform just as well as my existing (older) Pro Nikon gear.

Bought this 18-50mm for my Fujifilm APSC camera. Good for traveling due to its compact size and most importantly it covers all the focal length that I do usually capture. The constant f-stop of 2.8 is very useful for low light photography.
