Ersetzt bei mir einen alten EAP245, dank Omada-Controller in Sekunden betriebsbereit konfiguriert.Über die Bedienung per Weboberfläche kann ich deswegen keine Aussagen treffen.Wie erwartet höherer Durchsatz und ein wenig mehr Reichweite als beim alten Gerät.Leider wegen der Größe optisch nicht mehr so dezent.

Aus Zufall auf die TP-Link AP‘s bei der Suche nach einem Outdoor AP gestoßen. Der Outdoor AP hat auf Anhieb perfekt funktioniert, und sogar erheblich bessere Verbindung als ein konkurrierender Anbieter mit den drei Buchstaben aus Berlin gebracht.Zum Testen habe ich dann eine Etage in unserem Haus mit diesem AP mit WLan versorgt. Ergebnis hervorragend !. Wo vorher zwei AP/Repeater (6000er & 2400 von A..) nötig waren, reicht dieser einzelner AP vollkommen aus. Der Daten Durchsatz ist leicht besser als vorher, aber jetzt nur noch mit einem AP. Die Versorgung mit POE und die vielen Möglichkeiten der Konfiguration (Hardwarecontroller oder Softwarecontroller für MESH und volle Funktionalität wird benötigt) hat uns von dem AP überzeugt.Aktuell wurden alle AP und Repeater von A.. gegen TP Link der EAP Serie für den Omada Controller ausgetauscht, die Switche folgen noch im dritten Schritt. Nur die FB Cable wird erhalten bleiben.

I use the TP-LINK OMADA wifi products for many years and this is the fastest model I have ever tried.Since my ISP Orange France has a 2 Gb/s fiber, this access point is suitable.To obtain the advertised speed, do not forget to connect to a 2,5 Gb POE link !

Habe schon viel getestet (Unify, Zyxel, Grandstream) aber die TP-Link sind für mich die zuverlässigsten.Auch die Wahl einen lokalen Controller zu betreiben finde ich gut!

Box says 1.20 , software says 1.0 , came with version 1.0.3 which you cannot find online anywhere, installed 1.0.6 without problems.It would be better if tp-link didn't have so many hardware and software revisions and multiple firmwares for multiple REGIONS, not just US / EU, also CHINA / some countries.However, the AP does provide 860mb/s right below it on 5ghz, also covers the entire house more than 2 UAP-AC-LITE did, with better bandwidth / stability.Overall i approve the purchase.

2.4 Ghz the MikroTik SXT 2 RBSXTG-2HnD is stronger and has better coverage.

I wanted to get more speed for multiple devices at the same time so I choose the 670 to replace a 653 in my play area. But unfortunately TPLink lied about the 4x4 MU-MIMO capability. It is still only 2x2, so only one 2x2 VR headset can be used at a time but I want to play with someone in the same room therefore we need 4 spatial streams.I mean the 653 is very good already, boosting 950mbit over a 80MHz channel. But that one is identical in speed not fast but also not slower. Even with 2.5gbe connected. So no reason to choose the 670 over the 653, especially because its sooo much bigger.

5GHz performance was fast. That was really the only good thing.Range dropped off quickly though for both frequencies.Our devices also didn't behave with same SSIDs for both frequencies, drop outs. Doing seperate SSIDs had less issues which basically defeats the purpose of a higher end access point.IPv6 issues, spent HOURS figuring out it was something to do with IPv6 RA not getting through the AP.Then eventually found out from forums it's a known issue with the current firmware on the 670. TP-Link support recommended I try a beta firmware update ! Really?Had no other option other than to do that. It then caused the 2GHz network to drop out randomly for minutes at a time! Very disappointed. And no way to go back as they didn't even have the included firmware version uploaded on the website. IPv6 issues seemed to be fixed in the beta

The truth is, This is the best I've used so far and it will give you a bit of extra range but it is nowhere near what TP-Link claimed 300 Meters I'm getting a very weak signal when I go 25-30 meters distance but no way you can go as far as 200-300 meters as claimed. I can't see this happening.Every house has walls and yes, I'm satisfied with it and ordered another one for a different location, maybe the different location will perform better .. well see, and ill update you if any changes.

Funciona a la perfección, dando cobertura a toda la superficie donde se quería utilizar (110 m2).

This gives me almost 1gb connetion using wifi, on the 5ghz network with 160 channel width.Is not cheap, but its a big improve over only wifi 5ghz not being wifi 6
