I love my USWE Outlander Pro but the hose management with the provided clip (or without the clip) is lame and cumbersome. I didn't order the optional magnetic clip system with the pack because of the ridiculous price of $34. The "on-sale" price of $25 is still ridiculous. This Ultraspire aftermarket option was $9.60. The hose clip fits well on the 10-mm OD tubing without constricting it and the docking clip goes onto the chest strap webbing piece securely. I took it for a test drive and it works well. The magnet on the hose finds the magnet on the chest strap and they connect firmly.

I use this for my hydration pack when I go for motorcycle rides. The magnet holds the valve in place up through (so far) 80ish MPH. It's easy to get the valve for a drink and easy to put it back in place while in motion.

This is a very simple, inexpensive but much needed upgrade for my USWE Outlander. The magnetic clip is so easy to operate when riding, you don't need to fumble around trying to unclip the straw or take your eyes off the trail when you're done taking a drink. It's a shame hydropacks don't already come with something like this, but it's a cheap enough upgrade.

The Ultraspire Mag-Clip fits perfectly with my USWE hydration tube, and its magnetic hold (plenty strong), size, and durability seems near identical to my original USWE mag-clip. It also accommodates my CamelBak hydration tube, but it's a slightly tighter fit - but water will still easily flow. What makes this mag-clip so desirable (as well as the original USWE design), is that it can be easily clipped to different areas of a shoulder or waist strap. There is a retention notch inside the clip, but it's a friction hold type of clip - either way, it stayed in place on the attached strap over rough terrain.

This new magnet worked well with our existing hydro pack. It was easy to clip on and has worked well since.
