After spending some time with the Viltrox 27mm f/1.2 for Nikon Z, I can confidently say this lens is an absolute powerhouse. Right out of the box, the build quality is impressive—solid construction, smooth focus ring, and a premium feel that rivals much more expensive lenses.I’ve been using it on both my Nikon Z9 and Z6, and compatibility has been seamless. Autofocus is fast and responsive, and the clarity this lens delivers is outstanding. The wide f/1.2 aperture allows for gorgeous subject isolation, buttery smooth bokeh, and excellent low-light performance. Whether shooting portraits, street photography, or environmental scenes, the image quality is consistently sharp with beautiful rendering.One minor hiccup I’ve noticed is that in continuous autofocus mode, tracking can occasionally drop. It’s happened just a couple of times over five days of use, and a simple camera restart fixes the issue. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but something to be aware of.Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with this lens. It’s a fantastic option for professionals, hobbyists, and anyone looking for a high-quality, fast-aperture prime at a reasonable price. Viltrox has truly delivered a winner here, and I’d highly recommend it to any Nikon Z shooter looking to expand their kit.

Il 40 mm. F2,5 Z Viltrox per fotocamere mirrorless Nikon Z, è una vera sorpresa! Economico, molto leggero (180 g.) ma di notevole qualità ottica. Pochissima distorsione, estremamente nitido sia al centro che ai bordi del fotogramma.Lo uso come "normale" su Nikon Zf. Viltrox indica per precisione che la focale esatta è 43,3 mm.Apprezzabile il paraluce come accessorio e l'anello baionetta in metallo.

I purchased this lense a few months ago with some reservations, a lense of an unknown quality then.Other photographers in our club were dubious of how the images would turn out and , since then I have collected Merits and Honours whe judged in competions. This lens was first mounted on a Nikon Z5 camera and now on a new NikonZ6ii with great results. The colours are exceptional and the focus is always Tac Sharp, there is no hesitation in recommending the lens to any photographer.Peter A

Excellent build quality, a really useful prime lens for the Nikon Z APS-C camera's, great colour rendition and superb sharpness wide open.
