Overview
This is a Raspberry Pi LoRa HAT based on SX1262, covers 868MHz frequency band. Ermöglicht Datenübertragung bis zu 5 km über den seriellen Anschluss.
Im Vergleich zu normalen LoRa-Modulen bietet die SX1262 LoRa HAT eine lange Kommunikation über Distanz, hohe Rate, niedriger Verbrauch, bessere Sicherheit und Anti-Interferenz. Geeignet für verschiedene Anwendungen wie Industriesteuerung, Smart Home, Datensammlung usw.

Runs well on Pi 3B, bit of work getting it setup but was worth it. Stick a decent antenna on it and you're away

Comes with GPS antenna and USB cable, but no battery for the board. FYIs: requires constant 2A power supply or will turn itself off over and over again, also doesn't work with 3/4G networks, only 2G, which my phone doesn't support so not luck sending SMS with this. For those new to GSM/GPRS/GNSS, there's plenty of instructional info available from both Waveshare's site and Github. Still, useful GPS and clock features which is why I gave it 3 stars. Cool little HAT for beginners looking to explore raspberry pi expanded functionality, but if looking for phone functions, you'll need a more modern board.

Versatile and well documented, refer to the waveshare site. Said to be power hungry, so keep an eye on possible undervoltage issues, but I never ran into this.RPi hat note: it uses the builtin serial to communicate with the system, no USB needed.

Für das SX1262 LoRa HAT gibt es keine funktionierenden Beispiele von Waveshare. Die Beispiele die es gibt sind nur für lokale Kommunikation.Jedes Script ist mit einer großen Warnung "does not suport LoRaWAN protocol" versehen.Völlig unbrauchbar. Wenn ich alles selbst zusammen stellen muß brauche ich kein fertiges Modul.Getestet mir RasPi 3, RasPi Zero und Banana Pi M2+Alles was man hier bekommt ist das das E22 Modul auf eine Platine gelötet. 👎👎👎👎

it comes in a nice package including all necessary parts (gsm & gps antennas, usb cable). Everything is made with good quality materials. The board requires 2A current otherwise it will keep restarting! I had some doubts, and I must say that I am impressed with the support I received from this vendor! They respond very fast and provide you all information you need. You can also find detailed information about the board, drivers and example code on their website. I would definitely recommend their products!

Unter Linux (USB) muss man eventuell ein bischen an den udev-Hooks schrauben, wird nämlich als Braille-TTY erkannt.

Läuft super mit dem Raspberry. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil das Modul kommentarlos ausgeht, wenn der Strom nicht reicht. Ich habe Recht viel Geräte an meinem Raspberry ( z.b Display).Auf jeden Fall programmiere ich mir jetzt mein eigenes Telefon.
