Everything in the box arrived, I got revision V1.8. After few hours of putting everything together and putting it in my PC, it works very well.

Had a little difficulty getting the video to work due to little instructions with the item. More trial and error. The correct image for this item to install on your micro SD card(16GB minimum) is the "PiKVM V3 HAT BOX Image, OLED/FAN preactivated".With this resolved the item is working really well and if like others have said have 1.5 slot space in your PC/Server it really is a good IPMI alternative.

Sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt. Zusammenbau schnell und unkompliziert, Einbau und Einrichtung auch. Ich hab zwar ein komisches Problem mit USB HID, welches mich dazu zwingt mit einem Konsolen Befehl das ganze bei jedem restart des Gastgeräts zurückzusetzen, allerdings vermute ich dass das stark am Gastgerät und nicht dem KVM liegt.Alles in allem sehr zufrieden und preislich einfach unschlagbar.

Acheté pour mettre en place le KVM dans un serveur OpenMediaVault le résultat est bluffant !Simplicité d'installation et de configuration : tout est détaillé sur le wiki du projetLa compatibilité POE est clairement un plus par rapport aux autres produits de la marqueCerise sur le gâteau : le gestion ATX ! De quoi arrêter / démarrer / redémarrer les serveur à distance et surtout accéder au BIOS en cas de besoin

Eine grandiose Erweiterung des Raspberry Pi4.Alles sehr gut durchdacht und toll dokumentiert.ROM und Komponenten Laufzeitstabil und absolut zufriedenstellend.Weiter so!

Bought this for a TrueNas server, it has worked fine so far and am happy with it.The unit comes in parts and hardware setup is fiddly but not difficult. Setup of the software is easy and it works great - thanks PiKVM.org!Areas for Improvement:The completed unit is slightly too wide for a single PCI slot, and I decided to add a paper label back&front to stop it touching nearby cards. If it were possible to make it narrower, especially on the PCI-card-component-side, that would add another 1/2 star. Providing some insulating material (tape?) would also be a good thing.The other area for improvement is that at least for my case, the narrow 'key' part of the PCI plate was too wide, and I had to file ~1mm off the width it to enable the card to go into the slot.

When I was buying this I expected the fan to be loud or rather high-pitched considering how small it is. I was actually planning to remove it. But to my surprise I can barely hear it. I am very sensitive when it comes to fan noise and I usually find myself removing these small fans as they are usually loud/high-pitched (annoying).Other than the super silent fan that is a big plus everything else works great. ATX control, OTG USB 3.0, OLED display and RTC all work great. Supplied HDMI cable is very flexible.My only "complaint" is that the PCI-e plate didn't mount as easily at first and it requires extra care and wiggling to find a good stable position.

He, ich schreibe sonst eigentlich keine Rezensionen, aber diese Karte ist schon mega. Die Anleitung ist super. Wer damit nicht klar kommt, es gibt dazu ein Video. Ich hab es mir angeschaut und danach die Karte sowie die Zubehörteile zusammengebaut. Einfacher gehts nicht.... Dann nur noch PIKVM-Image auf die SD-Karte, ab in den Server. Die Gehäuse-Kabel (HDD-LED, Power-LED, Ein/Aus) werden an dieser Karte angeschlossen, von dort gehts dann an das Motherboard. Somit kann man schalten per Hand und per PIKVM. Ich habe mir den 8GB-Pi dazu geholt. Ist total überdimensioniert, die günstige 2GB-Variante hätte es auch getan. Dennoch kostete so inkl. Pi der KVM-Switch 200 Euro. Selbst das ist noch eine Lachnummer. Ich kann die PCIe-Karte bedingungslos weiterempfehlen. Somit steht keine extra Kiste in oder neben dem Server.

Bei servern Marke Eigenbau fehlt am Ende immer das Management Interface... ob man jetzt doch mal etwas auf der cli eingeben muss, einen harten Reboot braucht oder von einem (virtuellen) Medium installieren will.Hier kommt die Karte ins Spiel. Das Kit ist schnell zusammen gebaut, man braucht halt noch einen RPi4. Auf dem läuft dann bei mir auch gleich noch ein Notfall VPN.Klare Empfehlung.
