Super scharf auch schon bei f/1.4Zeitweise denkt man wirklich, dass man eine Sony GM Linse in der Hand hält.

I got the defective copy, the lense is unable to be sharp in less than f2 af or manually it just cant get anything in focus below f2 no matter the distance

Bin sehr unzufrieden, habe das Objektiv für Videografie & Fotografie gekauft, an der FX3 funktioniert es Einwand frei und der A7RIV sind alle Bilder unscharf und immer leicht verwischt, in egal welcher Belichtungszeit oder in egal welcher Blenden Einstellung. Objektiv ist mit der neusten Firmware geupdatet, Kontakte sauber trotzdem keine scharfen Bilder... Support Antwortet nicht auf Emails

It came with latest firmware too, and works like a charm on my Sony A7III. The Bokeh is so creamy, and the subject is sharp. I like the color and contrast renditions too. I never expected this lens would be great, but it's one of my choice picks so far, and I'm a sigma fan, so that says a lot about this review. Improvement wise, it needs an Aperture lock button, other than that, everything is spot on

For those debating on whether to order this lens like I was:Just received the lens by DHL today (Canada), 5 days after ordering, which is well ahead of schedule (standard shipping). There were no surprises in terms of taxes or duties, which I assume were all prepaid and included in the amazon sale price.There were two 67mm UV and black mist filters included in the shipping box. The lens was nicely packaged with the vacuum pack and the included pouch.First impressions after only a couple of quick test shots; The aperture ring is much tighter with very nice clicks compared to the pre-production models some reviewers were complaining about. Similar in tightness to GM lens aperture clicks. Yes, it would have been nice to have an aperture lock switch, but I can't see the aperture ring being a big problem now. It appears that Sirui corrected this in the production model.After some quick test shots, it appears to focus quickly and sharpness (looking at the back of the LCD) seems decent. But it's too early to comment about image quality until I have some time shooting it. Will follow up if I see any big issues.

Verpackung-Inhalt:Das Objektiv kommt vakuumverpackt an – überraschend aber schaut cool aus. Neben dem Objektiv erhält man einen „echten“ Objektivbeutel (da könnte sich Nikon was abschauen) und die Gegenlichtblende.Verarbeitung:Das Objektiv fühlt sich gut an, nicht zu groß und nicht zu schwer. Von der Größe her liegt es gefühlmäßig zw. Nikon 50 1.8 und Viltrox 85 1.8. Ich bin mit der Größe und dem Gewicht sehr zufrieden. Der Blendenring läuft weich und das Klicken ist angenehm – ich werde die Blende aber meistens über die Kamera einstellen; passt aber gut zu der ZF.Der AFL Button fühlt sich im Vergleich zum Rest des Gehäuses etwas billig an und das Draufdrücken ist nicht so angenehm wie zB. beim Nikon 24-120.Die Gegenlichtblende lässt sich nicht so leicht wie bei einem Nikon Objektiv anbringen, aber viel leichter als bei den ersten Viltrox Objektiven.Bildqualität:Schon bei Offenblende ist es im Zentrum scharf. Die Schärfe empfinde ich als angenehm, damit meine ich, dass bei einem Portrait nicht jede einzelne Hautunreinheit zu sehen ist. Der Übergang zum Unschärfebereich ist fließend und das Bokeh ist schön weich. Es fehlt mir aber ein bisschen der 3D Effekt, wie ich ihn vom Nikon 50 1.8 kenne.Im „Makrobereich“ ist das Objektiv weicher – leicht schärfer als das Nikon 40mm im Nahbereich.Negativ hat mich die doch hohe Verzeichnung überrascht. Die habe ich bei einem 85mm Objektiv in der Form nicht erwartet.Autofokus:Der AF und auch die Augenerkennung funktionieren ohne Probleme. Trefferquote ist im Bereich vom Nikon 40mm – nicht 100% aber für mich gut genug.Zusammengefasst ist es ein gutes Objektiv mit angenehmer Schärfe und weichem Bokeh. Von der Größe und dem Gewicht her liegt es gut in der Hand.Die Verzeichnung ist doch überraschend. Die Verarbeitung im allgemeinen bis auf den AFL Buttons sehr gut.Hoffe das in Zukunft auch ein 35 1.4 und viell. 28 1.4 kommen.
