Grundsätzlich Gutes Produkt allerdings ist der Usb Stecker nicht sehr Stabil und ist so nur eingeschränkt für Mobilen Einsatz geeignet, wenn der usb Stecker gesichert ist top Produkt ist sonst sehr wertig

Purtroppo, è il terzo che ho modo di provare e nessuno dei 3 ha funzionato in modo corretto in abbinamento ad un apparato Mikrotik, in pratica dopo un po' di tempo la parte tx smette di funzionare mettendo in I l'interfaccia; questa anomalia si è verificata in tutti e 3 i prodotti che ho avuto modo di provare, e anche provando con moduli LTE /5G diversi il problema si ripresentava.Pertanto se avete intenzione di usarli con Mikrotik lasciate perdere, mentre se li volete usare abbinati ad un classico portatile per esempio nessun problema.

Deises Don Dongle von Waveshare kommt nicht fertig montiert, sondern als Bausatz wobei da – ohne Anleitung - mir der Sinn einiger kurzer Kabel und wo diese zu befestigen sind nicht erschloss. Natürlich liegt auch kein Schraubenzieher für die kleinen Schrauben bei.Hat man das Gerät dann zusammengebaut – wobei es zusammengebaut bis auf die Antennen problemlos in der Box Platz gehabt hätte - und schließt es an einen PC oder Raspberry Pi an, so wird es schlicht und einfach nicht erkannt. Die einfache Lösung: Standalone funktioniert der Dongle nicht. Wie man erst im Manual lesen kann (weit unterhalb der Beschreibung als Textlink aber nicht direkt anklickbar zu finden) „USB TO M.2 B KEY is a module driver board, to work with the M.2 interface 5G or 4G module, and can not be used alone!“.Sollte man vor dem Kauf wissen. Meine SIM-Karte funktioniert mit dem Gerät in jedem Falle nicht.Fazit: Man muss es selbst zusammenbauen, es gibt keine Anleitung, es funktioniert nur mit bestimmten Modulen.

Der Adapter macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Und auch der Empfang ist wirklich gut, ich werde mich noch um genauere Messergebnisse bemühen und diese dann hier nachreichen, bisher kann ich hier aber nicht meckern.Wichtig ist natürlich, wie andere hier schon angemerkt haben, dass es sich nur um ein Dongle handelt, bei dem das 5G Modul fehlt. Man muss sich also so eins selber zulegen, damit man diesen Dongle verwenden kann. Eine recht gute Dokumentation findet man auf der Website von Waveshare, wo auch alle für Europa kompatiblem 5G Module aufgelistet sind.

I wanted to use this with a RM520N-GL 5G module. I did my research and bought this dongle despite people giving bad reviews (for not being able to put it together). I had no issues putting it all together. For guidance I went to the WaveShare website for this module and looked at the pictures. That was enough for me to put everything together. It works great. I tested it on Windows by installing the driver linked from the Waveshare website. Finally, I did a speed test as well.

Waveshare's usb adapter with heatsink that houses Quectel and SIMCom 5G modules is one giant leap into the future. Although the Iot industry is often designed for commercial or industrial use, I can see this dongle adapted at a consumer level for a variety of projects. All it will take is some creative code, programming & a friendly user interface for the pc, linux or Pi, combined with affordable 5G modules. In a world where privacy has become an issue, making 5G phone calls & texting with Waveshare's dongle is a no brainer. I had no problems inserting the nano sim on Waveshare's USB adapter whose accessories all come together nicely.

its an addon boardyou must assemble it yourselfwill not work as a standalone device for 5gno instructions of any kind includedthere are ways to get instructions but i didn't bother once i realized this was not a standalone device for 5g
